coconect exists so ambitious people can meet, help each other, and build real relationships over dinners, activities, and meetups. These Community Guidelines form part of our Terms of Service. By using coconect or attending any Event, you agree to follow them. If these Guidelines conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
When you confirm an Event, other Members and venues plan around you. Arrive on time, and if you truly can’t make it, tell us as early as possible. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations reduce your matching priority and can lead to suspension. Any venue-imposed no-show or minimum-spend fee is your responsibility.
The best tables are the ones where people ask questions, make introductions, and give before they take. Come curious. Don’t treat the table as a sales meeting: no hard pitching, no spam follow-ups, no mass solicitations, and no pyramid or MLM recruitment. If a business conversation starts naturally, great — that’s the point — but read the room.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, bullying, or hostility toward any Member, venue staff, or coconect representative — based on anything, directed at anyone — is grounds for immediate removal. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.
coconect exists to build professional and social relationships. Unwanted romantic or sexual advances, comments, or behaviour — at an Event, in follow-ups, or anywhere connected to coconect — are a serious violation and may result in permanent removal.
Members share what they’re building, their plans, and sometimes sensitive details. Don’t record other Members, don’t photograph them without asking, and don’t publish or share their personal information, contact details, or what they told you in confidence. Whether you exchange contacts after an Event is each person’s own choice — respect a no.
Alcohol at dinners is optional and your own choice and responsibility. Arriving at or becoming impaired at an Event to a degree that endangers or disturbs others may result in being asked to leave and may affect your membership.
Your profile, your background, and what you tell other Members must be truthful. Impersonation, inflated credentials, or misrepresenting your affiliations breaks the trust the whole community runs on and is a material breach of the Terms of Service.
Use your own judgment with people you meet — coconect does not run background checks or vet Members. If anything at an Event makes you uncomfortable or unsafe, you can leave at any time, and we encourage you to tell us as soon as possible at hello@coconect.io. Reports are handled discreetly. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
We may investigate suspected violations and issue warnings, reduce matching priority, suspend, or permanently remove a Member, with or without notice, at our discretion, and without refund except where required by law. We owe the community a safe, high-trust environment, and we take that seriously.
